Because Scripture is God’s personal Word to mankind revealing His creative and redemptive will, we gladly surrender to its authority over our life and the ministry and mission of the church.
Followers of Christ are called upon to have authentic faith in all areas of life. By doing so, not only does the world see our faith, but also we bring honor and glory to God. We want to be known for having authentic faith.
In order to accomplish God’s plan for our church we must guard ourselves from being distracted. Lack of focus can lead to haphazard ministry which results in haphazard discipleship. Being focused allows us to pursue the goal His Word sets before us for our members, our family, and our world.
Christ calls all believers to engage the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to be intentional with the Gospel in our diverse areas of influence because of our love for God and love for others.
Christ’s atonement is sufficient for every tribe and nation. Because of our love for the lost, we will be intentional locally, nationally, and to the uttermost ends of the earth so that those who have not heard will hear about the love of God through Christ.
We believe that each person is responsible for growth in Christ and has the opportunity to grow in his or her faith. Because of our passion to be obedient to the Lord, our passion for our members, and our passion to see them grow, we believe that it is our responsibility to nurture and encourage them in their spiritual growth.
The family is a significant ministry field today. We believe that Dad and Mom are the principle shapers of faith in their children and in the home. Our desire is to equip Dad and Mom in their marriage and/or parenthood so that Christ will be lauded in the home. By doing so, their children will become a generation who exalts the Lord.
Each person has an opportunity to use his or her gifts to edify the church. We believe that everything we have comes from and belongs to the Lord. We are called to be faithful stewards of the gifts and resources he has given to us. We show our love to the Lord through serving and giving.
Our adoration for the Lord and for each other leads us to be committed to Him, to the body – that is, the church, its ministry, and its mission.
