Rarely can churches look back on a storied history like First Baptist Kemp. Since 1882, First Baptist has been a voice of truth in southern Kaufman County. Generations of believers know the impact First Baptist has had on their life and family. Today, we continue to be a voice of truth for the greater Cedar Creek Lake area, southern Kaufman County and northern Henderson County. We exist to help others find Christ, lead each other to follow Christ, and equip one another to live on mission for Christ here and to the ends of the earth.
